Hiking

Jonathan and I went on a hike up Reservoir Canyon trail with friends the other day. It was a beautiful, warm December day. The hills should all be green this time of year and it was a hazy day but the views were still pretty amazing.

 

Making Soap

I had fun making some soap recently. I made cinnamon spice and chocolate mint. I love experimenting with fun scents. I think they look so pretty, the chocolate ones look good enough to eat. The chocolate mint is made with peppermint and spearmint essential oils and dark chocolate. The spice one has cinnamon bark and ginger grass essential oils in it. They smell so yummy!

Pumkin Spice Almond Flour Muffins

Its starting to feel a little like fall around here, that means time for pumpkin baked goods.

So I made some pumpkin spice muffins yesterday. I think they turned out looking really good, but I didn't try them because they're for someone else. And I put raisins in them so wouldn't eat them anyway.

They sure do smell good though!

I just got home from staying with my sister and her family for the summer. I enjoyed helping with their organic vegetable farm and lovely body care products. My nephews are adorable and so much fun. It was special being able to spend so much time with all of them. Here are a few of the pictures from the summer.
